Sähkölandia Oy joined Pikespo Invest Oy’s portfolio in a transaction signed on 31 December 2021. Sähkölandia Oy is a Lempäälä-based company founded in 2013, which offers substation contracting and services and contracting for power plant and industrial electrification. The company employs 25 people and it’s turnover in 2021 was 7 M.
Jouni Mälkönen will start as the new CEO of Sähkölandia on March 1, 2022. He will take over from the position of CEO of Grid Solutions Oy. Kalle Haapaniemi, the founder of Sähkölandia, will continue in the company as a significant minority shareholder and member of the Board.

“The investment needs in electricity networks and the challenges that renewable energy sources are creating for electricity quality and transmission provide interesting opportunities for Sähkölandia. Pikespo Invest wants to be supporting the company’s growth as a co-entrepreneur,”says Petri Antila, Investment Director at Pikespo Invest Oy.
The company will invest even more in organic growth and potentially through acquisitions.
